Som Tam Again!!! - SOI 5, Siam Square Bangkok
So we visited Som Tam again, second day in a row...Also, tell me if you like the new Google Map link I've got on my blog!
I did it just for you, The Soviet one =)
I just felt that I didn't order enough on the menu the day before!
Along with the normal rice (White Jasmine), they also had the glutinous rice (Nasi Pulut, us Malaysian's would call it)
Madam Mummy wanted fish, so we ordered the Deep Fried Fish... (I think it was like 70baht?)
Som Tam with Deep Fried Crispy Pork Skin - I think this was 50 baht (SAME PRICE AS THE COCONUT!)
Deep fried chicken wings with Garlic.. AND THIS my friends, was the best ever chicken wings I've ever had (Okay, I lie.. BUT it was deliciously well cooked.. skin was crispy and the meat was succulent and juicy!)
The entire meal cos around 350 baht or something... I've got the receipts lying around somewhere =)
NOTE: Again like the first day, there were heaps of people lining up and sitting inside (at all hours of the day... I passed Som Tam a lot to get out and back to the hotel)
Overall Food Rating: 9/10
Restaurant ambiance: 9/10
Value for money: 7.5/10
Address:
Som Tam
SOI 5
Siam Square
How to get there: You can take one of their Skytrains (BTS) and get off Siam Square station (Same stop as for Siam Paragon Mall)
