Like I promised, I had one more piece of Ocean Trout to cook for my lunch today.
So here it is. I felt that I did a fantastic job on the mash Potato.
But anyways, here are the ingredients:
Ocean Trout Snow Peas Garlic Shallot Potato (the pink one) Butter Extra Virgin Olive Oil Balsamic Vinegar Sea Salt Cracked Pepper Butter Parmesan Full Cream Milk Sweet Sherry Mixed Herbs
PART I
Step 1 (Mash Potato):
1.) Boil the potatoes until mashable ^_^
2.) Mash it together with a 2 teaspoons of finely chopped garlic, butter, salt, cracked pepper, milk and a dash of sugar
3.) When the consistency is reaching smooth, add in the Parmesan cheese (as much or as little as you like
PART II
Step 2 (Snow Peas):
1.) As yesterday, blanched the snow peas in boiling hot water (with salt in the water)
Step 3 (The Fish):
1.) Add the oil with a tablespoon of butter
2.) Fry the fish skin side down (as yesterday, only turning it over when the skin has turned a nice crisp brown. DON'T burn it!)
Step 4 (Decorate/Garnish):
Look at the picture 0_0
Step 5 (The Sauce):
This did not turn out as well as I had hoped. I was aiming for a sukiyaki/teriyaki sauce, but my sauce has Expired!!
So I replaced that idea with a dash of Sweet Sherry instead.
1.) Stir-fry the garlic and shallot until the aroma hits you hard! (Ok, I mean until it goes slightly brown)
2.) Chuck in the mushrooms
3.) Dash of sherry
Serve up and Voila'!!!
I like having it with a Ribena Lemon drink as well (I have to use up the lemon anyway)
