It's that time of the night again. Darkness closing in.
The house is silent.
The air is cold.
Silently the light flickers as I move past.
There is utter peace and silent.
Unknown to the neighbours outside, there is turmoil in the peace within.
They hear nothing. They see nothing out of the ordinary.
The screaming, the crying, the shouting goes on.
It is dark outside.
It is cold outside.
The fog is closing in.
The nightmare starts again.
No one hears.
No one helps.
No one knows.
