Two Nights in Bangkok
So the next morning, we wake up and go down to breakfast in the hotel...
Very nice spread they had as well...
Especially after just returning from Egypt and the dreadful breakfast spreads they had there... this was heaven sent!
The normal "American" breakfast.. I don't know why it's termed that.. this is my dream breakfast.. boring but extremely delicious!
Thai Boat Noodles...

Good morning Bangkok!
Took a half day tour around the city to see the sights...
Walked through a street market to get to the jetty...
And I discovered, that they love dogs here just as much as I do... Pretty doggies everywhere!
Here...
Me doing a camwhore pose whilst trying to capture one of the temple's behind me...
Wat Arun (Porcelein Temple)
Me and Madam Mummy (blocking Wat Arun out completely!)
Another dog at the temple...
Dog's riding the motorcycle at the temple...
Signboard with an "innappropriate dressing" warning...
Madam Mummy and I paying homage...
This huge 100 foot Buddha statue in Wat Indrawiharn is pretty much of a dissapointment... I was expecting a majestic figure, but somehow.. because of it's design (it's flat).. it didn't hit me as a beautiful figure... but oh well.. that's just my opinion
After the half day tour, we asked to be dropped off at the most holy/famous religious site in Bangkok city... the sole reason for my visit to this country actually.
I had a dream that I was in Thailand praying to the 4 face Buddha.. so I had to make a journey here!
To pray for the Boy's father and let him be well =)
Going backwards a bit, at the street market where we went to see Wat Arun, our tour guide saw a lady selling something he thought was really interesting...
He bought it for us to try and insisted that we eat it there and then, as this was a delicacy which is very hard to find nowadays in Thailand.
It was a delicious glutinous rice with sweeten egg and palm sugar... delicious!
And then for dinner, we went back to the same stall.. and today.. I did the ordering.. hence I got my prawn Pad Thai!!! It was really good.. for 35 baht... it was dreamy!
More wonderful stalls selling all sorts of interesting snacks...
And more!
But no.. this part of town.. no deep fried insects or any other creepy crawlies...
