Lemon & Thyme Pork Chop Recipe
The only lemon used in this dish is the lemon rind (1 lemon rind grated finely) and the juice.
But since I can't find any pork chop songs, LEMON it is!!!
This is a simple dish and fry-up. You just feel really greasy later and will need to have a proper wash up... ^_^
We have pork chops, shallots, garlic, thyme, mushrooms and potatoes
Marinate the Pork Chops with Thyme (Just 2-3 stalks is enough), 1 whole juice of a lemon (including the grated rind), sugar (1 teaspoon), 1 tablespoon of Worchesteshire (L&P) Sauce, Pepper and Salt to taste
Heat up the Grill and when hot, heat up some oil and 2 tablespoons of butter and place the pork chops onto the pan. Cook about 4 minutes on each side, making sure that the meat doesn't get burnt.
Dish out and place onto plates.
Use the remainding oil and cook the leftover ingredients, (i,e. Juice, Mushrooms, Shallots, Garlic, Thyme)
If there's too little gravy, add in some Chicken Stock.
Plate up and serve with some pan fried potatoes!
