All The Small Things
As I sit here and type with a migraine on this laptop (Thank God I'm dating a geek)...
I started out by wanting to whinge again about my suddenly crazy stressful work life.. I'm not ungrateful.. I just hate this place.. and I really miss being unemployed for the fact that I could do anything and wake up anytime and be answerable to no one but myself (ok, and the Boy)...
But somehow, these things seem so trivial... life is way to short..
I mourn the passing of a kindly old uncle...
He was a sweet gentleman... the funniest memory I had of him?
When all of us on the way home from a seafood dinner in Klang... at the turn off to Subang Jaya... where it was dark, lousy signage, we turned a little too early and ended up driving along the Federal Highway on the motorcycle lane!!
Shocked at first, we slowly started giggling like crazy... everyone was looking at us in the dark night... wondering what this crazy group of people were doing and why were they allowed to drive out late in the dark...
Big Sis reminded me of this episode today... and the story brought a smile still to my face...
*sigh*... and the one time when I was alone and he made me eat chocolate Twinkies so I would not starve when no one was around... me the gleeful one was just happy to have the opportunity to be all alone and use the TV room to my childish viewing pleasure...
Goodbye, Travel well and thank you for the memories... May you shine in heaven as you did here on earth...
