I really can't complain. My Boy can really cook when he puts his head to it.
The unspoken agreement these days, is, I cook on weekdays, and he takes over on the weekend.
Which works out really well for me... but somehow... he seems to be trying his hardest to get out of it and taking me out.
I can't complain about that either. As long as I don't have to cook on the weekends, it's all good...
He made this dish a couple of weekends ago, but I didn't have the chance to put it up.
It's a paella inspired dish. I say inspired, as we didn't use Saffron and other dishes.
The ingredients were:
1.) Garlic, Onion, and some pork ribs.
2.) Then he remembered he had Chorizo and carrots.
3.) & 4.) He fried the pork and chorizo separately, to maintain their crispyness.
I must admit, I wasn't paying attention to what he was doing...
5.) He started frying up some rice in the pan (whilst leaving in the pork bone, to maintain the sweetness)
6.) He added in stock, carrots, pork, and chorizo
7.) DONE!... Served on the pan... it was still hot and gooey...but not mushy...
8.) It even had the burnt bit at the bottom, like a paella...
Really Tasty!
